Amado Luna Receives JoLo Bolo Award

Jones Logistics Celebrates Amado Luna as October 2024 JoLo BOLO Award Winner 

Jones Logistics (JoLo) is thrilled to announce that Amado Luna has been unanimously selected as our JoLo BOLO award winner for October 2024! 

JoLo BOLO (Be on the Lookout), originally launched in fall 2022, began as a quarterly employee recognition program. In April 2024, BOLO transformed into a monthly program, giving us the opportunity to spotlight even more outstanding employees. Each month, employees nominate their peers who embody our core values of integrity, passion, unity, sustainability, and humility, with a diverse committee selecting the final honoree. 

Amado joined the JoLo team in December 2023 as a representative on our Enterprise Operations team. To say that he has made a remarkable impact on our company culture and work environment would be an understatement. Amado’s dedication to his customers, his work, and his coworkers is evident every day. 

Known for his selflessness and professionalism, Amado frequently goes above and beyond, always ready to lend a helping hand. His colleagues took notice, nominating him for the JoLo BOLO award this month for his compassion and generosity. 

One co-worker commented anonymously, “This is a man that is always offering himself, his time, or his possessions to assist others in their needs or goals both at work and outside of it.” Another shared, “Amado is as humble as they come. He’ll go out of his way to help someone without being asked, not for recognition, but simply because he cares.” 

Another co-worker recalls a time that they saw him sticking around the office after a busy week: “I was leaving work late on a Friday afternoon and saw Amado in the parking lot helping someone with a tire issue on their car. He had his portable pump going and said he had it handled. It would have been easy to turn the other way and wish them the best to get his weekend started but Amado being the guy he is made sure they were taken care of before leaving.”
