This month, Jones Logistics (JoLo) is proud to announce that Danielle Arcuri, Logistics Manager, has been selected as our JoLo BOLO award winner for the month of May!
Jolon BOLO (Be on the Lookout) was originally launched as a quarterly employee recognition program in the fall of 2022. Last month, BOLO was relaunched as a monthly program in which employees continue to nominate their peers for exemplifying our company core values: integrity, passion, unity, sustainability, and humility. A committee of employees from various sectors of JoLo then votes on a winner.
As of last month, Danielle has been a member of the JoLo team for three years. She started in 2021 as an Administrative Assistant for our main yard in Waukesha, WI, and was promoted to Logistics Manager in 2022. Today, Danielle plays a crucial role in maintaining and overseeing our dedicated operation in Waukesha. She is now being recognized for her passion.
“[Danielle] has done so much for this company, going above and beyond to establish strong relationships with our customers,” says one of her co-workers. “She is [also] very knowledgeable, she always answers any questions I may have, and she’s the smartest person I’ve met.”
She certainly brings a great deal of knowledge and passion for her job, but Danielle also has a lot of heart for those around her, especially her team: “I have never had a supervisor who cares about her employees,” anonymously commented one of her direct reports. Another employee states that “[Danielle] is constantly working and striving to make the work space and relationships the very best they can be.”
