Jones Logistics Celebrates John Billa as November 2024 JoLo BOLO Award Winner

Jones Logistics (JoLo) is thrilled to announce that John Billa has been selected as our JoLo BOLO award winner for November 2024! 

JoLo BOLO (Be on the Lookout), originally launched in fall 2022, began as a quarterly employee recognition program. In April 2024, BOLO transformed into a monthly program, giving us the opportunity to spotlight even more outstanding employees. Each month, employees nominate their peers who embody our core values of integrity, passion, unity, sustainability, and humility, with a diverse committee selecting the final honoree. For November, that committee selected John Billa. 

John joined the JoLo team in July as Senior Director of Midwest Operations and brings over twenty years of experience in the transportation industry. In addition to playing an integral part of our dedicated operations, John is being recognized for his outstanding demonstration of leadership.  

“John has been the best manager I have had,” anonymously commented one of his direct reports. “He takes the time to listen and addresses issues in a timely manner. If he doesn't know an answer, he will do his best to get it. His dedication to learning our department and how we operate is unmatched. He is always available when you need him and he is a great asset to our company.” 

John is strongly committed to promoting excellence within the trucking and transportation community.  Clearly, this means more than simply just providing great customer service and enhancing our business. For John, this also means fostering mentorship, support, and collaboration both externally and internally.
