Joy Courtney Receives JoLo BOLO Award

This month, Jones Logistics (JoLo) is proud to announce that Joy Courtney has been selected as our JoLo BOLO award winner for the month of September. 

Jolo BOLO (Be on the Lookout) was originally launched as a quarterly employee recognition program in the fall of 2022. In April 2024, BOLO was reintroduced as a monthly program in which employees continue to nominate their peers for exemplifying our company’s core values: integrity, passion, unity, sustainability, and humility. A diverse committee from across the organization selects each month’s winner. 

As November 2024 approaches, Joy will celebrate 11 years as an Operations Representative with JoLo. Throughout her career, Joy has continually expanded her role, all while building strong, positive relationships with co-workers and customers alike. Many of her peers have praised her dedication: 

“Joy does any and everything that she can for her customers and co-workers. She is always there to lend a helping hand when someone is in need no matter personal or professional” 

In addition to her kindness and compassion, Joy’s work ethic is second to none. She’s known for stepping up when it matters most, always focused on doing what’s best for JoLo. 

 “...Joy's no non-sense approach is appreciated as she doesn't care who is right as long as we get it right,” anonymously commented one of her other co-workers. “She will always speak her mind when she thinks missteps are being taken but also gets on board once a decision has been made. I owe much of my success and operational knowledge to Joy Courtney.”
