Mario Camaleiri and Russ Singleton Receive JoLo BOLO Award

Committee Selects JoLo BOLO Award Winners for June 2024

At Jones Logistics (JoLo), our strength lies in our people and their unwavering commitment to our five core values: integrity, passion, unity, sustainability, and humility. The JoLo BOLO (Be on the Lookout) employee recognition program celebrates those who go above and beyond in exemplifying these values in their everyday actions. This month, our committee selected two winners.  

Our first JoLo BOLO for the month of June is Mario Camaleiri, a Dedicated CDL driver. Mario began driving for JoLo just over six years ago. Since then, he has become a great example of our company's values in action. It goes without saying that flatbed hauling can be complicated. However, known for his readiness to tackle any challenge, Mario takes on almost any flatbed load handed his way and does his job with a great deal of care. 

An anonymous colleague, and the individual who nominated him for this award, is quick to praise his dedication: "Mario is a flatbed driver who goes above and beyond for our Jones; there isn't a load he won't haul." 

Mario's passion for his work and his commitment to ensuring every job is completed exemplify the core values of integrity and passion. His reliability and willingness to take on any task inspire those around him.  

Our second JoLo BOLO for the month of June is Russ Singleton, VP of 3PL Sales. Having only been hired three months ago, Russ is very new to the JoLo team. However, he is already impacting those around him at the office. Despite not being well-acquainted with his nominator, Russ didn't hesitate to lend a helping hand in a moment of need: 

“I don't really know Russ, but he was leaving the office, and I was just arriving. We were both parked in the upper parking lot, and he was willing to help me carry a heavy load back up the stairs to the office when he was on his way out.” His anonymous colleague and nominator went on to say that “most people won't even hold the door for someone, but Russ was willing to walk all the way back down the hill and up the stairs for me." 

Russ's willingness to assist a colleague, even when it meant going out of his way, highlights his embodiment of unity and humility. His actions remind us of the importance of supporting each other, no matter how small the gesture may seem.
